Raid's eAthena Server GUI!
Note: This is for the SQL version, but could be tweaked (see Settings.ini) to launch txt version, but I haven't tested that yet. Install Instructions: Easiest method is to Extract to your eAthena Directory and Run. Otherwise Extract to any Folder, and Run, and be sure to change the Options to change the Executable locations. Upgrade Instructions: Just replace everything but settings.ini, if any changes were made to the format, RASGUI will automatically create new default settings. I also suggest changing the Map Server Priority to high, as this reduces Lag to players if you're doing other things. Changelog: QUOTE Changes in 1.75 + : Added SQL Backups. + : Added Check for certain options when clicking OK. +/= : SQL and Save Folder Backups now get put into Zip File. Fix : Fixed Bug when Restarting/Shutting down from Web. Changes in 1.70 + : Added Time Format for Logs in Options (AM/PM, 24 Hour). + : Added Web Port to Options for Remote Admin. + : Added Backup for the Save Folder (Check out the Options). + : Added ability to Shutdown or Restart each Server individually for the Web GUI and the Main Interface. Changes in 1.64 Fix : Security Fix with Logging in, anyone can log in knowing your username! It is recommended you update to this version immediately! Changes in 1.63 Fix : Fixed WebGUI Log Refresh to work with Opera, FireFox and IE (Thanks Sebda). FEATURES: - Remote Administration - Server Priorities - Start on Windows Startup - Auto-Restart when Server Crashes - Full Coloured Log - Saves to Log - You may choose which Servers to Restart - Choose what appears in the Logs - Hides the Consoles and can even hide in the System Tray. - Ignore certain Log Text - Backup of SQL/Save folders at intervals - Makes the backups in zip format. - And more! Hmm, interesting,
What version of Windows do you have? And do you have the SQL version? |

Redownload, and try the new version see if it gives you the same error?
Thanks. (IMG:http://www.eathena.ws/board/style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) (Please reply with windows version, and if using SQL) |

Wow, very neat indeed!
I do have a few suggestions though... 1) The ability to stop the servers tidily. I don't know how you are terminating the consoles when quitting, but if you don't close them properly (CTRL+C) then they don't tidy up and might not finish writing data to the SQL database or flatfiles. 2) An option to autostart the servers on loading, so it can be added to the startup routine of a host. 3) Ability to log to file, it helps diagnose problems if the server crashes. 4) Ability to restart selected consoles only. Ok, the 4th is just being picky but the first is essential in my opinion. It's a great little GUI though, simple but effective. Superb work! |

It's quite nice. More convenient and advanced versus the server launcher in it's own parts. I've mirrored it for extra convenience.

I don't understand all these 'hide the ugly console things' for Windows, because:
a) If you're running a decent server, you won't need to not make consoles ugly because you should not use the server computer as your personal computer b ) If you're running a decent server MAKE IT LINUX. We don't need programs for Windows because servers run best on Linux/Unix/. |

New Update available (yes, already), please test guys, and let me know if the Startup thing works correctly and everything else!
Thanks!! (If you don't want it to rewrite your ini file, just extract the exe over the old one, and it should update your ini with updated values) Note: If you want it to work with txt version, just replace the 'exe' filenames in your settings.ini file, please test if this works. I might add a 'Text mode' switch sometime. |
